Family started the business in 1958. Late Mr. Bimal Pershad Jain transitioned from a bicycle & rickshaw shop to fasteners manufacturing, moving from a small house to setting up an industry.

In 2006, Universal Precision Screws (UPS), a leading manufacturer of fasteners and precision machining components, was established by Mr. Rajesh Jain. UPS is known for developing print parts and fasteners for the automotive, aerospace, and industrial segments.
